Charlize Theron turns hostess for son’s birthday bash

The active member of PETA and versatile actress Charlize Theron, last seen in Prometheus hosted a private party for her adopted son Jackson’s first birthday. Sandra Bullock and Chelsea Handler were among the Hollywood celebrities who were invited by the 37-year-old Academy award winner.
The venue for the bash was her plush Hollywood Hills pad and as it was a very private low key bash only close friends and family were asked to be a part of it. Some 20 guests graced the occasion and made it a memorable affair for all. A source gave the leads "Sandra Bullock was one of the first guests to arrive with her son Louis. As they walked into the party, they bumped into Chelsea Handler who had also just arrived in a limousine." "They all walked in together and headed for the backyard where children's music was playing and kids were running around," the source added.
Theron had a 9-year long relationship with Stuart Townsend who co-starred in Trapped and Head in the Clouds. They separated in January, 2010. Charlize will be next seen in Mad Max: Fury Road.
