Word around the gossip block is that song-goddess Adele might be setting up shop permanently in California for a while. A new report from across the pond claims that the “Skyfall” singer is moving to “glitzy La-La-Land.”
The update arrives bitterly via the UK’s Daily Mirror, who admittedly feels a tad deserted by their mama Adele’s decision.
According to the story, the vocal powerhouse is on the prowl for a pad that she, her baby, Angelo, and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, can call their very own.
“Adele can see the benefits of bringing up a child in the US,” a source told the gossip outlet. “They can be outside, enjoying the weather and loving life out of the spotlight.”
Apparently fellow Brit Robbie Williams and his wife, Ayda Field, convinced the Adele clan to relocate.
“Robbie and Ayda have told Adele that she would be able to have enough land not to feel too trapped,” the source said, “and she could have the privacy she so desperately needs to enjoy life.”
The report also referenced her taped-from-L.A. BRIT Awards acceptance speech where she assured fans she was “not living here,” and would be “coming home” soon.
