Berlin-Hohenschönhausen is a former Stasi prison in East Berlin, Germany. Over 20,000 inmates were serving sentences in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen during 38 years of its history. Most of them were political prisoners. Now it's a historical memorial that reminds the world about the dark times of German history.
